Research Statement

I am dedicated to increasing current understanding of how we different language difference from disorders in bilingual children. Currently, students and I are examining the role of home language support in the acquisition of English vocabulary, morphology, and syntax in Latino bilingual children, researching current language assessment practices, investiagting computer-based language intervention for bilingual chidlren, and determining the langauge assessment practices of SLPs who assess Hmong children.
