Research Summary

We investigate geological processes & phenomena in Earth System Science from the nanoscale to the planetary scale. Our work leverages the unique information encoded in the magnetic and chemical properties of geological materials to study: 1. Tectonics & paleogeography; 2. Geochronology applied to climate processes, igneous processes, & ecology & evolutionary biology; 3. Surface & crustal processes, such as fluid-rock and geothermal interactions; 4. Geobiology; and 5. Environmental Science
