Biography

Danica is a Certified Nurse-Midwife and Women's Health Nurse Practictioner with Birthcare Healthcare clinical practice. Part of her time is spent as an assistant professor at the College of Nursing, where she provides education to nurse-midwifery and women's health students. She provides full-scope midwifery care, which includes: routine gynecological care, contraceptive counseling and family planning, prenatal care, labor management and deliveries, and postpartum care.

Danica aims to provide individualized and compassiote health care to women throughout their life span. She believes that women should be active participants in their unique health care goals, and that every woman should be treated with respect and dignity, and given the opportunity to receive high quality healthcare regardless of their beliefs, gender, identity, race, or socioeconomic status.
