Biography
A dedicated leader and educator, Natasha Ansari passionately empowers her students and colleagues by fostering a safe, inclusive environment that celebrates connection and personal growth. Natasha embarked on her nursing journey in St. George, Utah, where she earned her BSN degree. Her career took a leap in 2014 when she relocated to Salt Lake City to work as a home hospice nurse. Natasha's commitment to critical care nursing deepened through a rigorous internship at the University of Utah Hospital in 2015, leading to a pivotal role in the Intensive Care Unit at Huntsman Cancer Hospital.
In 2020, Natasha earned her Master of Science in Nursing Education from the University of Utah, and in 2024, she defended her Ph.D. dissertation on moral distress, resilience, and team dynamics across nursing specialties and experience levels. Her scholarly pursuits are aimed at elevating nursing education and professional standards at both undergraduate and graduate levels. Natasha also serves as the faculty advisor for the College of Nursing’s LGBTQ+ Nursing Collective, advocating for equality and support within the nursing community.
