Biography

Mike White is a poet and faculty member at the University of Utah.  His first collection of poems, How to Make a Bird with Two Hands (Word Works 2012), was awarded the Washington Prize.  Individual poems have appeared in journals including Poetry, Ploughshares, The New Republic, The Threepenny Review, The Antioch Review, The Iowa Review, Field, Rattle, and Witness.  His work has also been featured on Poetry Daily and Verse Daily.  His teaching interests include creative writing, Romantic poetry, environmental literature, and the gothic.  See the "Curriculum Vitae" link above for more details.
