Research Summary
I have investigated symptom monitoring, appraisal, treatment, and management for over 20 years. I specialize in longitudinal measurement and the psychometric properties of instruments used to evaluate symptoms in both chronic and acute phases of illnesses. I have specialized in using respiratory symptoms in chronic conditions to help guide self-management decisions including fatigue, shortness of breath, anxiety, and depression in pulmonary, cardiac and oncology patients.
