Software Titles

  • The Utah Demographic and Economic Model - version 2017. This R software projects Utah's future population by county, single-year of age, and sex, in one-year projection intervals; along with demographic components of change and households. It is essentially a cohort-component model with net migration informed by economic projections. It accounts for retirement, missionary, student, and labor-related migration. The model can further control to optional inputs of total births, deaths, and migration, and can therefore also be used to distribute population and component estimates by single-year of age and sex. Release Date: 2018.
