His extensive expertise encompasses flotation separations, hydrometallurgical methods for critical mineral recovery, recycling, surface chemistry, and the flotation chemistry of industrial minerals (critical minerals) and fossil energy minerals. He has expanded his research into new energy areas to develop solid polymer electrolytes for all-solid-state batteries.
