Biography
Joshua M. Larson has worked for the Athletic Training Program at the University of Utah since 2011 where he is an associate instructor and co-teaches Acute Care I and II and is the instructor for Simulation for Athletic Training. Josh is also a part-time Paramedic, EMS instructor, and PhD student in Rehabilitation Sciences. His current research interest revolves around prehospital care and its impact on long-term outcomes for patients. Currently, he is researching prehospital falls and medications used in prehospital births. Prior to entering higher education as a career, Josh was a professional dancer with Repertory Dance Theatre, Rire-Woodbury Dance Company, and SB Dance in the state of Utah.

Research Summary
My current research focus is on the impact of Emergency Medical Services are on future patient outcomes and any research involving prehospital care. I am also working on simulation related research and scholarship. My research has mostly focused on the occupation of Academic Advising and its recognition as a field or its role in higher education.
