Research Interests

Dr. Patterson’s research primarily focuses on health system evaluations using pragmatic research methods and real-world data. Her research interests are in pharmacoepidemiology, comparative effectiveness, and cost-effectiveness.  She works on drug utilization questions and optimization of health care delivery, with specific emphasis on cardiovascular care among cancer patients and survivors (Cardio-Oncology) and women’s health.
