Biography

Dr. Chou received her Ph.D. in Clinical Science-Health Service Research from the University of Texas Medical Branch. She is a biostatistician and Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Physical Therapy and Athletic Training at the University of Utah. She has more than ten years of experience as a biostatistician in industry and academic settings. She collaborated with investigators to provide statistical consulting in study design and analytical strategies in various research areas. Her work included a wide range of secondary database, including cancer registries, private insurance claims, Medicare claims and assessment data, and Medicare linkage database. Dr. Chou’s research areas include health service research, outcome research, minority health and health equity.
