Biography
Alberto is an Assistant Professor with a shared appointment between the Department of Economics and the School of Environment, Society & Sustainability. His research combines methods from economics with geospatial tools and remotely sensed data to better understand the relationship between environmental change and livelihoods.
Prior to joining the U, Alberto was a Postdoctoral Researcher at Yale University. He completed his Ph.D. at the University of California, Santa Barbara and holds a B.A. in Mathematics and Economics from Willamette University.
