Research Statement
Our research is centered around developing micro-nanotechnologies and computational methods to extract information from biospecimens that are not typically obtainable using conventional methods. Our expertise includes microfluidics, engineered particles, DNA nanotechnology, integrated device development, spatial tissue analysis, and pipelines for high-plex datasets. We employ these tools to study biomolecules in health and disease at multiple scales, including proteins, nucleic acids, extracellular vesicles, cells, and tissues. By tracking disease progression and treatment response, we seek to study the underlying pathologies, and develop better treatment strategies. We work on problems in oncology, autoimmune diseases, infectious diseases, and beyond.
