Research Summary

I am part of the Haecker Lab in the Division of Microbiology & Immunology, where our research focuses on understanding innate immunity, inflammation and autoimmune diseases. Recently, we identified key molecules in pathogen recognition and autoimmune diseases like lupus and psoriasis. Currently, we are examining the functions of these molecules, while also discovering new compounds and developing inhibitors, to combat inflammation and offer new treatments for inflammatory/autoimmune diseases.
