Small Group Teaching

• NUIP 7540-01/FPMD Prepares future clinicians with insight in the nuance of nutrition, the art of cooking and counseling about health behaviors. This course goes beyond macro and micro-nutrients to analyze how nutrition translates into meals and reasonable patient advice such as what, when, where, why and how to eat. This class meets in a teaching kitchen or at home during the fall and spring, where students actively cook alongside one another. The teaching team was nominated and awarded the Academy of Health Science Educators Team Interprofessional Education Team Award April of 2022.  01/11/2021  -  present
