Research Statement

I am interested in life, love, aging, queer, and fiction. What is life? How do we react to life? What are our survival mechanisms? What is the meaning of life?

My master's research was on Woody Allen's dramas and classical mythology. My doctoral dissertation was on Plato's theory of love and two modernist novels, by Salinger and Sologub.

Currently I am working on my independent research on Russian émigré women writers who published their prose in Europe in the 1920s-1930s.
