Research Summary

The goal of my research is to better understand how multimedia representations and interactive educational technologies can support effective learning, with particular attention to the cognitive processes employed by learners and the depth and quality of learning outcomes that they achieve. This research naturally informs and supports another key area of my work: the design, development, and evaluation of interactive, digital learning environments.
