Research Statement
Current projects include: 1) Effect of ECT vs. Isoflurane Anesthesia on Performance of Mice in the Forced Swim Test and Tail Suspension Test- Principle investigator (with Alan Light); 2) ECT vs. Isoflurane for the Treatment of Depression- Coinvestigator (with Kathleen Light), 3. MRNA expression in depressed patients and effect of standard therapy versus ECT or deep isoflurane anesthesia. FAER grant submitted, review received pending resubmission.
