Biography
Nathanael Mitchell is an attorney at the law firm of Snow Christensen & Martineau. His practice ranges from criminal defense to civil litigation. He has worked in a variety of areas, including commercial litigation, employment, governmental liability, insurance defense, and white collar criminal defense. Mr. Mitchell is also a member of the firm’s “Snow Trial Services” team.
Prior to attending law school, Mr. Mitchell studied history, political science, and classics at Utah State University. While attending the S.J. Quinney College of Law, Mr. Mitchell served on the Utah Law Review. He also completed a judicial externship with the Honorable Michele M. Christiansen at the Utah Court of Appeals, worked at the Salt Lake County District Attorney’s Office as part of the Criminal Clinic, and was a member of the National Moot Court team.
Following his graduation, Mr. Mitchell served as law clerk for the Honorable Robert J. Shelby of the United States District Court, District of Utah. Mr. Mitchell currently serves on the board of the Utah State Bar’s Young Lawyer Division and as a member of the Pro Bono Commission.
