Biography

Kyl Myers is a PhD candidate in the department of sociology at the University of Utah, focusing on population and health. Specifically, Kyl studies gender, as well as sexual and reproductive health issues affecting underserved populations.

Kyl teaches SOC 3337 "Sociology of Gender and Sexuality" and SOC 3561 "Criminology."
Kyl won the Graduate Student Teaching Award, Spring 2015.

Kyl's community involvement includes working with Planned Parenthood Association of Utah, the National Organization for Women, SLC Feminist, Intermountain Healthcare, rape crisis centers, domestic violence shelters, and the Salt Lake County Jail.
