Research Statement

My primary research interest is the optimal use of clinical laboratory tests. To that end I compare physicians' usage patterns of particular tests to published clinical guidelines. I also do some work with cost-effectiveness analysis of laboratory tests. Finally, I have done some mathematical modeling of infectious disease transmission.
