Research Statement

My research interests include: 1) Development, evaluation and implementation of a predictive model of “high-risk” children with asthma for hospital and/or emergency department readmission, 2) Implementation and evaluation of decision support tools to assist clinicians in medical decision making at the point of care, 3) Use of existing EMRs to facilitate screening and enrollment of potential subjects in clinical trials, 4) Data mining of clinical and administrative databases to evaluate the impact of care on clinical outcomes.
