Research Summary

My research focuses on sexual and gender diversity and their implications for health and well-being. Currently I study the implications of early adversity as well as sexual/gender stigma for later psychosocial development and the physical health of LGBTQ individuals. My research involves multiple methodologies, such as survey data, qualitative interviews, and the collection of stress biomarkers such as cortisol and plasma markers of inflammation.
