Research Statement
My interests focus on community decision making processes and outcomes, especially those that relate to land use and transportation. My current primary research project is assessing the extent and nature of land use/transportation scenario planning projects in metropolitan areas in the U.S. My other research work is focused on the impacts of various public policies on travel demand, the success of site design regulations to promote pedestrian scale commercial areas, and the effects of university learning programs on nonprofit organizations.
