Biography

Dr. Huntsman-Jones has been an RN since 1995 and a Family Nurse Practitioner since 2020. She is also a Certified Pediatric Nurse and has worked in a variety of medical and educational settings since earning her initial RN license. She is particularly passionate about women's health, occupational medicine, pediatrics, forensics, nursing education, and research.

 

Dr. Huntsman-Jones has a BSN from Oregon Health Sciences University, an MSN from the University of Utah, an FNP certificate from the University of Massachusetts in Boston, and a Doctor of Nursing Practice from New Mexico State University. She splits her week between working two days in the RedMed Employee Health Clinic and 3 days teaching graduate nursing students. She enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband and 3 children whenever she gets some time off from work.
