I am working with Dr. Jan Dole and Dr. Sheree Springer on a study investigating to what extent student teachers within UITE are implementing engagement and motivational principles taught to them in their teacher preparation programs.

Biography
I am originally from Idaho but have lived in Utah since I was 14. I taught in the pubic schools for 13 years and also spent time as a district literacy specialist. I have been teaching at the University of Utah since 2002. I am married and have four kids.
