Biography

Brett McIff is a public health scientist focusing on the practical application of environmental and policy supports to improve physical activity.  His research has focused on how perceptions of the built environment affect child and adult participation in non-work and non exercise physical activity.  His interests are in walkability, health impact assessments, community design, and the integration of public health and planning approaches for optimal population health outcomes.
