In the Media
- Autism Science Foundation: A 2018 Year end Review of Scientific Research cited a paper I helped author in 2018:
"This year researchers explored some of these endophenotypes not as a single biomarker, but things that could be added together to create a profile of probability of a diagnosis. The Baby Siblings Research Consortium, a group that tracks infants from high-risk families through diagnosis and adolescence, has made great advances this year. For example, early language abilities, especially understanding language, emerged as a strong endophenotype. In fact, persistent language delay predicted ASD outcome in an independent group of kids (Henry, Farmer, Manwaring, et al., 2018), reinforcing its use as an intermediate phenotype. 12/23/2018.
