Research Statement

I am working on 
  • Nonconvex variational problems, especially on structural optimization.  Particularly, he optimal layout of materials in a composite, an optimal layout of three and more materials, and related problems of quasiconvex envelopes for multiwell Lagrangians. 
  • Robust optimization in uncertain conditions, minimax approach.
  • Damage propagation in lattice structures, resilient structures, optimization of impacted structures, and compatibility conditions in dense lattices.
