• ENV 2100 - Intro to Environmental and Sustainability Studies
  The course will expose students to a diverse range of research viewpoints and approaches to studying issues surrounding the environment and sustainability.
• GEOG 1000 - Earth Environments and Global Change
  Earth Environments and Global Change explores the four interconnected spheres of the Earth, the atmosphere, hydrosphere, lithosphere and biosphere. The course examines the theories, research methods and types of data that are fundamental to a responsible appreciation of the geographic and historical variation of Earth's environments.
• GEOG 3200 - Geomorphology: Mountains, Rivers, Deserts
  This course explores Earth's surface systems to see how landforms are created and modified over time. These systems include mountain building, and erosion and deposition by rivers, glaciers, landslides, wind, and shoreline processes. Analysis of landforms and processes will be directed towards understanding how the surface of the Earth got to be the way it is, and how it is changing.
