From my Theatre 1013 "Exploring Theatre" course:

COURSE PHILOSOPHY: We will become acquainted with the world of theatre by examining significant primary readings, looking at how theatrical space has been used over the centuries, focusing on two important dramatic ages, and discussing historical and modern plays (including written texts, filmed productions and live performances).
