Biography

Dr. Kelly C. Patrick is Director of the University of Utah Reading Clinic (UURC) in the College of Education. Dr. Patrick has led clinical practica in reading instruction and intervention for Utah educators since 2014. She is involved in on-going development of instructional curricula and strategies to support struggling readers in all aspects of reading across tiers, including explicit instruction of academic vocabulary, word structures, and morphology. Her work has been published in a number of scholarly journals, including Reading Research Quarterly, Journal of Research in Reading, Language, Speech, and Hearing Services in Schools and Assessment for Effective Intervention.
