Dr. Berny Alfonso Carrera Gordillo (aka Dr. Berny Carrera) is a distinguished researcher and lecturer with expertise in Artificial Intelligence (AI), predictive analytics, and data management. He holds a Ph.D. in Industrial and Management Systems Engineering from Kyung Hee University, South Korea. With a passion for sustainable urban development, Dr. Carrera has dedicated his research to advancing energy efficiency and smart city initiatives through AI-based solutions. His work has been recognized through multiple publications in top-tier journals and funded by prestigious organizations such as the National Research Foundation of Korea. Throughout his career, he has served as a research professor and lecturer at Incheon National University, where he has mentored students and delivered courses in AI, programming, and industrial intelligence. Dr. Carrera has a proven track record of collaborating on international research projects and delivering impactful insights to enhance the sustainability of cities worldwide.
