Biography

Tsai received his PhD in Mathematics from Stanford University in 2016. He conducted postdoctoral research at Columbia University, became a tenure-track Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Rutgers University in 2019, and joined Utah in 2022. Tsai is a 2016 Junior Fellow of the Simons Society of Fellows, is an awardee of the 2020 Bernoulli Society New Researcher Award, and is a 2022 Sloan Research Fellow.
