Research interests

Cancer survivorship and supportive care: Trained and board certified as an oncology pharmacist, one of my research interests is to understand and address complications from cancer and cancer treatment that negatively affect cancer patients and survivors, such as cognitive impairment, peripheral neuropathy and financial toxicity. I have been involved in observational studies that aimed to describe the pathophysiology and impact of cancer-related complications and clinical trials to evaluate potential interventions to attenuate them.

Impact of novel cancer therapeutics: As a health economics and outcomes researcher, I have been involved in studies to assess and predict how new oncology treatments affect cancer patients and the health system using a combination of real-world analytics and modelling techniques, including the use of electronic health records and claims databases to capture health outcomes and conducting cost-effectiveness analyses to estimate the value of new therapeutics.
