Research Summary

My primary research interests fall within the area of diversity and inclusion in organizations, and center predominantly on the role that individual differences (e.g., in social class, cultural background) play in shaping employees’ and leaders’ behavior. My main stream of research focuses broadly on how and when social class - hierarchy based on income, education and occupation - shapes employee behavior in ways that maintain and perpetuate social class inequality within organizations.
