Research Summary

Creating the next generation of functional devices requires taming the dynamic processes that dictate performance. To build better solar cells, we need to elucidate how chemical heterogeneity impacts charge carrier transport. For bioelectronics, we need to uncover how ions and electrons move in heterogeneous polymers. To achieve these goals, we develop new methods to interrogate structural transformations, track electronic and ionic transport, and capture nanoscale dynamics.
