Research Summary

My research focuses on improving student learning and sense of belonging by developing/modifying, implementing, and evaluating active-learning and collaborative strategies, and cognitive and social-psychological research findings. We also focus on educating and supporting faculty to implement evidence-based strategies through developing on-line and in-person educational material and implementing faculty-development programs, and to document these changes through various assessment instruments.
