Research Summary
I am interested in spatial data science with application to health and wellbeing. Currently, I focus on three different research streams which revolve around the the environment and society: 1) disease surveillance of COVID-19 in the United States, 2) exploring the drivers of hate towards minority populations on social media during COVID-19, 3) addressing methodological issues in spatial simulation models, focusing on disease outbreaks.
