Research Summary

I am interested in the computational aspects of developing and applying geographic data science approaches to solve societal and environmental issues on a variety of spatial scales. My research includes three principle areas: 1) spatiotemporal computing, 2) geovisualization and 3) machine learning. Currently, I focus on studying health disparities during the COVID-19 pandemic in the United States, with focus on the spatiotemporal distribution of disease cases and testing.
