Nicholas Baggett MS, APRN is a clinical instructor at the University of Utah specifically with the Psychiatric Mental Health DNP track. He started his nuring career in the ICU at The Ohio State University where he split his time between the med/surg ICU and their Early Response Team (ERT). As he worked at OSU, he returned to school to complete is goal of becoming a PMHNP.  In 2016, Mr. Baggett graduated from The Ohio State University with an MS and began his NP career in downtown Columbus, Ohio at a community mental health center.  

After two years working in Ohio, Mr. Baggett and his wife and their beloved dog decided to move to Utah for more sunny days, mountains, and copious hiking opportunities.  In 2018, he joined the University of Utah faculty practice for psychiatric mental health, and in that same year joined the faculty at the univeristy  Since 2018, Mr Baggett has been teaching in the PMH DNP track and working at several clinics in valley.  He spends most of his time working for a free mental health clinic only serving uninsurance.

When Mr. Baggett is not teaching, working, or learning, he loves spending his time with his wife and dog.They enjoy hiking the trails in Utah, paddle boarding around the lakes, backpacking, camping and traveling in the US and internationally. When tired out, he spends his time reading at home with a cup of tea or cheering his wife on as she becomes a jiujitsu master.
