  • NASA's Extraterrestrial Materials Group (exMAG) Meteorite Subcommittee. Role: Collaborator. Antarctic Search for Meteorites (ANSMET) representative that collaborates with the Subcommittee, which makes findings on Antarctic meteorite recovery and curation, etc. and reports to NASA. 01/2021 - 01/2029
  • NASA's Antarctic Meteorite Allocation Panel (AMAP). Role: Panelist. Appointed for three year service. AMAP makes findings about the allocation of requested samples and presents these to NASA. 01/2020 - 01/2024

  • Assigned to various GG committees, such as Awards, Undergrad Affairs, Grad Affairs, Outreach. committee member, 01/01/2022 - 12/31/2022. Department service.
  • Academic Senator from career-line CMES . Senator, 08/2020 - 05/2023. University service.

Outreach

  • Led a "Find the meteorites" activity for Clark Planetarium’s "Fly me to the Moon, 50 years since Apollo 17" celebration. The day at CP had over 1000 visitors. 12/10/2022 - present
  • Gave a lecture to the Utah Astronomy Club entitled "Shooting stars and meteor over Utah". 10/12/2022 - present
  • Presented a lecture titled "Shooting stars and the meteor over Utah" at the Clark Planetarium. About 60 people attended the lecture. Also did some suspect meteorite ID after the lecture. 10/08/2022 - present
  • Had a table and presented a "Find the Meteorite" activity, as well as conversed with undergrads at the STEM Success Fair at SLCC Taylorsville. 09/08/2022 - present
  • Presentations on the Antarctic Search for Meteorites plus "Find the meteorite" activity for the SLCC PACE program (Partnership for Accessing College Education). 06/10/2022 - present
