Ashley ML Brown is an assistant professor in game user research, game user interface, and digital game design at EAE at the University of Utah. She completed her PhD at the University of Manchester in sociology in autumn 2013 before going on to teach and win awards at Brunel University London. Ashley is also on the board of directors for the Global Game Jam, the steering committee for the Games User Research and Experience SIG of the IGDA, and an Institutional Review Board member.
In the past, Ashley volunteered as secretary for the Digital Games Research Association (DiGRA) 2014-2016 and was a founding member of the UK chapter of DiGRA.
