BIO

Dr. Timmins is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering and Affiliate Faculty Member in the Scientific Computing and Imaging Institute at the University of Utah. He received his B.S. and Ph.D. from the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Texas A&M University in 2005 and 2010, respectively. During his Ph.D studies, Dr. Timmins was a Whitaker International Fellow at Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry. He performed postdoctoral training in the Coulter Department of Biomedical Engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology and Division of Cardiology at Emory University. Prior to joining the University of Utah, Dr. Timmins was an Instructor in the Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences at Emory University.
