Research Summary

My scholarship addresses the way that queer identities impact legal information needs, information-seeking behavior and legal representation. Critical to this is a focus on library service and information accessibility for queer library users and the legal tools and "work-arounds" employed by LGBT family law practitioners.

Biography

Beth Jennings joined the S.J. Quinney College of Law in October 2019. She received a B.S. from the University of Nevada Reno, an M.S. from Pratt Institute, and a J.D. from the University of St. Thomas School of Law in 2014. Prior to joining the library faculty she was an attorney, specializing in LGBT family law. She is a member of the Utah State Bar.
