Biography
Benjamin Gibson received a Bachelor of Science from Florida State University, and is currently working on a Masters of Science from the University of Utah. At the U Ben is the Social Coordinator for the Graduate Student Advisory Committee (GSAC). GSAC hosts social events to foster community among the physics grad students, and also advocates for students, advancing the department towards policies and faculty that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion. Ben plans on getting a Ph.D. from the U and eventually becoming a professor in astronomy.
