Research Summary
My research investigates how recreation experiences can empower and foster agency among youth and emerging adults. By expanding access to personally meaningful and culturally relevant recreation, this research aims to create opportunities for youth to develop critical skills and resources that are necessary to address social injustices and inequities affecting their communities. My goal is to promote life-long wellbeing and equip youth with tools to build a more just world.
