Biography

Dr. Bodkin joined the faculty within the Department of Physical Therapy and Athletic Training at the University of Utah in 2022. He completed his masters (2016) and doctoral studies (2020) at the University of Virginia followed by a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus (2022). Stephan's research focuses on post-traumatic muscle morphology, particularly in those following lower-extremity orthopedic injury. His research goal is to investigate persistent muscle dysfunction that commonly follows sport-related injuries in order to provide clinical recommendations to safely and effectively return patients to activity.
