Biography

Wander ridgelines, trudge through questionable terrain. Click in, take a breath and descend- deep wide turns through light frozen water crystals. Riding the water cycle.

Traverse tallus and start up a pitch. Place gear, be strong, pull, push, balance, top out.

Sand, granite, steep headwalls. Desert and the alpine juxtaposed in the Great Basin, expansive beautiful desolation. Red (sandstone) white (capped peaks) and blue (ocean): this is my America.

I'm a Vermonter trying to navigate the above out here in the big country that is the west. Called Salt Lake home for about seven winters and still pursuing the dream. And a masters degree because to me, it will be the tool for preserving the last wild(er)ness we have left.
