Research Summary

I am a mathematical biologist specializing in stochastics. Typically, my work begins with a biological problem, which leads to a mathematical model, which then inspires new mathematical questions. Answering these mathematical questions then provides insight into the original biological problem. Recent areas of research include ovarian aging, medication nonadherence, and extreme statistics.
